(salary for a Warehouse Worker is $9.00 to $10.00 per hour.)
Position: Part Time and Full time
Location: Doral
We are looking for a warehouse worker who can work with heavy equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to move freight from point to point location in a warehouse space and can load trucks continuously. They must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 70 pounds, and work in hot or cold weather. The warehouse worker completes paperwork, ensures tasks are completed safely and on time, and must make decisions regarding the transfer of incoming and outgoing inventory. A warehouse worker should be alert, ambitious, hard-working, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions. The Candidates must be able to work different schedules, day or night shifts, part time or full time. Occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor

- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
- Assisting with training of newly employed workers
- Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- At least know how to write and read. No GED is required.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse
- Knowledge of operating a Pallet Jack or forklift
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work independently and safely
