(salary for a Production Worker is $8.56 to $9.00 per hour.)
Position: Part Time and Full time
Location: Doral
We are looking for a Production worker who can work with production equipment like pallet jacks to move freight from point to point location in a production plan space. The worker must be able to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds, and work in hot or cold weather. The Production worker only completes tasks on safe areas, but fast movement is required to finish on time and should be able to make decisions regarding the transfer of incoming and outgoing inventory. A Production worker should be alert, hard-working, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions from Supervisor. The Candidates must be able to work different schedules, day or night shifts, part time or full time. Occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Collecting merchandise from production lines and safely handle materials to the shipping bays
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the production lines
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
- Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- At least know how to write and read. No GED is required.
- Prior experience working in a Production Area
- Knowledge of operating Small handle implements
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work independently and safely
