(salary for a Driver class A is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour and Class B is $12.00 to $15.00 per hour.)
Position: Part Time and Full time
Location: Doral
We are looking for drivers who are energetic, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork, personable and safe. You must enjoy meeting people and be deeply familiar with the city, such as back roads and traffic patterns. The Delivery Driver must be able to lift packages up to 45 pounds and bend and twist, as necessary. The Candidates must be able to work different schedules, day or night shifts, part time or full time. Occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver to customers on time.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Work occasional evenings and weekends
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery and notify manager of any issues
- Drive in inclement weather, such as strong rainy season
- Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Minimum of one year driving experience within 30-mile radius of store
- Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
- Strength to lift up to 45 pounds plus bending and twisting
- Work well independently
- Open and transparent communication
- Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps
