(salary for an Office Clerk is $12.00 to $15.00 per hour.)
Position: Part Time and Full time
Location: Doral
We are looking for an Office Clerk who can be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative duties in a company including preparing documents, scheduling meetings, and updating company records. Also perform multiple tasks including a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, and office machine operation. The Candidates must be able to work different schedules, day or night shifts, part time or full time. Occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Review customer invoices for accuracy
- Ensure that all invoices are mailed to customers on time
- Develop an efficient invoice filing system that the entire department can use to keep track of current and archived invoices
- Assist in making accounts receivables collection calls and in setting up payment terms for clients
- Answer the departmental phones and distribute messages to the appropriate personnel when required
- Keep the departmental printers and copiers operating properly and alert management when repair is required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- High school diploma/GED required
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds
- Good communication and organization skills
- Reliable and professional with proven track record of good attendance
